ASHTANGA YOGA

This age-old practice is THE most rigorous form of yoga, not the faint of heart. That said, come and try it out and build on your strength slowly.

BEGINNER CORE CLASS

Looking to improve your core strength but not quite ready for our more intense class? Try this class for greater abdominal strength and more support in all the sports that you do.

CORE FLOW

This flow class will help you find the support and strength of your deep core muscles in every movement. It will focus on strengthening not only the abdominal muscles, but also the muscles deep in the body that support the spine which allows for a more powerful alignment. Incorporate traditional abdominal work, asana (postures) and breath work to emphasize development of the power that lies at the center of your body.

CORE, HIPS AND LOW BACK

Yoga class: Relieving Tension in the Low Back & Hips and find out how awareness to the body's core can help with many back and hip problems.

Learn a sequence to do at home to relieve tension permanently .
Please join us for this therapeutic class focusing specifically on relieving tension and discomfort in the low back and hips.
Move through postures that help to create space in this area of the body. Additionally we will help to identify and work with postural patterns that may be the underlying cause.

CORE STRENGTH

For those who have done a few beginner core classes and are ready for a little more, try this class.  The focus is on anatomy, and the importance of building strong deep core muscles to prevent injury and incorporate inner resilience.  Using both Pilates and yoga, this class will make you rock solid (and a rock star)!

FLOW YOGA

This class is a dynamic combination of strength, sweat and spirituality.  Vinyasa Yoga detoxifies, heals, and electrifies. This accessible, challenging and flowing form of yoga will lead you to a state of transformation for mind and body.

FRIDAY FLOW

TGIF!!! This vinyasa class helps to shed the stress of the week and shift into weekend gears. A great way to transition into relaxation mode...

GUIDED MEDITATION

Join us Sunday mornings for a guided meditation class.  From 9:15-9:45, enjoy a free Meditation Class at the studio and discover the benefits of quieting the mind and becoming aware of the cycles of our thoughts.  This class is free to all.

HOT 26

 

The series that comes out of 26 postures and two breathing exercises will help realign your body. The dynamic, ever changing postures are completed in a specific order, suitable for all levels. Every posture prepares you for the next; every following posture gains from the previous. The practise will strengthen and energize your body and mind, center and soothe your soul, and improve overall wellness on a cellular level.

HOT FLOW

Essential Yoga combines modern technology with the ancient discipline of yoga in this flowing vinyasa-based class. Our Infrared Panel heating offers waves of energy that penetrate deep into the human body (approx. 4 cm) gently elevating the body’s surface temperature detoxifying the body at a cellular level while burning fat, de-stressing, improving your flexibility and strength. Committing to a regular yoga practice will change your life.  Other benefits include joint mobility, promotes healing, reduces muscle stiffness and pain, decreases soreness & inflammation, promotes weight loss, enhances heart function, reduces tension.

MELLOW FLOW

RESTORE AND REPAIR

Think M-E-L-L-O-W- A yoga practice intended to restore and repair the body and mind.  This class blends  Hatha Poses designed to  release the back body and restore range of motion in the joints, Yin Yoga and some Restorative Yoga as well

SATTVA YOGA

This Sattva class is a way go deep into your practice by emphasizing on breath work to move you through the sequence. Vinyasas and standing poses, as well as soe deeper seated ones.   Pranayama & meditation will follow the asana.

THERAPEUTIC FLOW YOGA

This class uses the therapeutic applications of yoga postures to strengthen and lengthen muscles while creating space and relieving tension.  Therapeutic balls are used to resolve on-going tension in the body, coupled with a powerful flow.  The simple and effective use of yoga balls for deep release and fascia exploration is a self-care practice that puts the power of massage into your own hands.  This is an all levels class that will help you learn specialized ball rolling techniques that reduce adhesions in the more superficial layers as well as massaging deeper into your high-tension areas.  Each week will include a variety of guided rolling exercises, a therapeutic flow and then a guided relaxation.

YIN YOGA

Move slowly within your body utilizing deep long holds in postures that target the connective tissues with an emphasis on the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. YOGA FOR ALIGNMENT

A practice that moves you through a flow with attention to the body's anatomy and its link to the breath. This practice uses elements of the viniyoga therapeutic style to improve flexibilty and stability.  Suitable for all levels.  

YOGA FOR HIPS

This yoga class is a wonderful way to bring an active body back into balance. Because tight hips can lead to so many other aches and pains, over time this class can heal the body. We will open and relax tight hips, hamstrings and lower backs through a balanced practice of dynamic flow and long held postures.

ZOOMER YOGA

Yoga for 50+ years young (or for anyone looking for a mellow class).  Make some room for yoga in your life.  Now that you have all that extra time for yourself, try yoga! Yoga is regarded as one of the best exercises for maintaining a healthy body and mind and reducing the aging process.  It can easily be adapted for any person at any age and in any physical condition.  Yoga has become more popular in recent years due to the many benefits that can be had from regular yoga exercises.  One of the great things about yoga is the fact that it is very powerful at relieving stress.  For those people who are aware of how stress affects the condition of the skin and the aging process, it is easy to understand how powerful yoga can be to help wind back the clock.  By releasing stress from the body energy levels increase and allow you to participate in more activities.  This in turn increases your physical fitness and mental fitness.  With the ability to perform more physical activities the body becomes healthier stronger and effectively younger.  The suppleness that comes about from doing regular yoga exercises reduces the amount of aches and pains that we suffer as we get older.  Having constant pain, and the energy that this saps from your body, is very often mirrored on the face, making you appear older.
