Shona has been practicing and loving yoga since 2001. She brings 30 years of physical therapy experience to her yoga teaching - blending anatomy knowledge with the teachings of yoga philosophy, breath work and energy play. Yoga helped her work through some of her own injuries and she became inspired to take the EYSTT program in 2008 and is Yoga Alliance Certified (E-RYT 200). Shona's passion is teaching a healing hatha style that is accessible to all students, learning about the mind body and spirit, and sharing new ideas in her classes.
To evolve her knowledge and teaching, she has received Yin Yoga Teaching Certification from Bernie Clark, and has attended numerous training workshops including restorative yoga, trauma sensitive yoga, anatomy and yoga, and yamas and niyamas philosophy group. Lifelong learning is an essential part of her yoga journey.
