The Essential Yoga Studio Teacher Training
200 Hour Certification:
The EYS Teacher Training Program provides high-quality training for those desiring to teach yoga or to deepen their understanding of yoga practice. Students are awarded a 200-hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Certificate upon successful completion of the program.
This program is informative and transformational. It provides students with an in-depth study of: Asanas, Breathing Techniques, Human Anatomy, Correct alignment, Yoga for special populations, Mediation, the Business of Yoga, and Yogic Philosophy.
The EYS teacher training program provides students with a template for learning and then encourages the individual’s creativity to flow. We believe in creative teaching with a firm grounding in anatomy and yoga philosophy. In addition to providing a broad-based education about yoga, we focus strongly on the skills required to teach well. The program is oriented to teaching a mindful and safe class applicable to all styles of yoga, from leading discussions about yogic philosophy to more rigorous and athletic forms of yoga.
The class meets for two intervals: one for ten days, followed by a nine-day intensive session with an additional 20 hours of teaching and observing necessary to complete Yoga Alliance Certification. The EYS Teacher Training Program is taught in a non-denominational style of yoga, seeing value in all yogic traditions and styles. It is designed to honor the general principles of yoga and encourage students to develop an individualistic teaching style that resonates within them. We are registered with the Yoga Alliance, an internationally recognized organization that has the highest standards for certification requirements. The Essential Yoga Studio follows their guidelines to ensure your certification is viable for wherever you choose to teach.
This course is for everyone whether you want to become a teacher or just heighten your knowledge of Yoga.
